I like the style of the game. The single player mode needs challenge though. Maybe a time limit and a better point reward if the player has fast reflexes. The logs never disappear so there's no incentive to have good timing and judgement to not hit the cute animals.

odiusfly responds:

Thank you for your comments.. The game is not to disappear the logs. The idea was to hit the logs again and again. When a player hit the logs faster, the brain stuck so when appear the animals you can easily hit them. Basically i care about observation between logs and animals, no how fast can hit a log.

Awesome.

GamesByMichi responds:

Thank you! :D

Nicely designed game. Feels like a classic NES title but with better graphics.

ryogo responds:

Thank you heroyooky, this is EXACTLY what I was aiming for!

I like this. The hand drawn graphics are great. Getting a new unique power at the end of each of each leveI - I was excited to see what was next. I look forward to seeing more (and sound effects/music).

OddLoop responds:

I appreciate your review.

I really like all the details in the art and animation. Gameplay is rewarding once you get the hang of it. Nice job.

platformalist responds:

Thanks so much, heroyooky! I’m really glad that you enjoyed it! :) Thanks for the feedback.

Pretty damn entertaining game, well done. I have to say though a game like this is begging for a multiplayer mode.

JosephMoonGolf responds:

Thanks a lot! Multiplayer was absolutely something I thought about with this game but I started a little late to add it before Halloween, I'd love to give it a try if I revisit this game.

Not bad. One thing I think would benefit this game is better sound when the asteroids are destroyed. If you look at the original Asteroids game it had this big booming sound which was really cool and added to the atmosphere.

YamiStudios responds:

Thanks, I'll see what I can do.

Fun, challenging, and fair. Nice work.

mapacarta responds:

Thanks, I am glad you liked it.

I like this. The way the enemies die is cool. The sound is nicely done. Controls well. I do agree the difficulty is a bit slow to ramp up to a challenge and could discourage some to replay from the start. Maybe introduce waves? Then let the player pick straight away which wave they want to start at say in increments of 5.

retroshift responds:

Thanks for your review!
Your waves idea is under consideration for an update. Maybe something more simple like a difficult recalibration will work better. I was trying to give some room for new players to experiment.

Awesome! One thing I wish though is that running into a wall wouldn't take you out of the race, maybe just have it slow down the player a lot. The most fun is when everyone is trying to bump each other around at the beginning, it would be way more fun imo if everyone could race until the end no matter what.

totebo responds:

Hey, that's a good idea! When I tried it with energy it didn't feel good, it was more exciting with insta-crash. But I get what you're saying, I also like crashing into other players the most. May be able to figure out a new game mode that adds mor bumping. Thanks for playing and the feedback!
